In this painting I aimed to create a feeling of freedom and lightness, by merging many shades of fresh blue, turquoise, white and some warm golden paint (acrylics) in an abstract and expressive way.

My newest diptych spreads a lot of 'joie de vivre' an lighthearted joy due to the color choice and the dynamic brushstrokes.

In this piece I created an abstract work using impressionistic and minimalist elements to give the viewers plenty of space for their own interpretations and emotions. Don't we all sometimes need a 'favorable wind'? A feeling of support and 'being carried'? I had these feelings when creating this painting and I hope I succeeded in creating an abstract, that inspires.

I love lively colors (soft yellow-green, fresh shades of turquoise, warm red, mysterious violet...) which I combine in a dynamic but still harmonious way to give the impression as they are constantly moving. I added some quartz sand and emphasized some details with charcoal to give depth and an exciting texture.

I painted this artwork after a calming and relaxing holiday at the Côte d'Opale in France.

Even if I don't plan my paintings consciously I guess my subconscious was so inspired by the colors of water, nature and sky that I wanted to express the deep serenity and peace of mind I felt during that time over there.
